Obverse: F•DEODAT' MGR S IOhES B, The Grand Master, kneeling to the left and holding a staff bearing the flag of the Order, receives it from St. John the Baptist, nimbate and standing to the right. Reverse: +hOSPITALIS QVENT'RODI, An angel, nimbate and winged, seated facing forward on the open tomb of Christ, holding a scepter in his right hand. An exceptionally rare specimen, preserved in superb condition.
