Galba 68-69 AD. Æ Sestertius (35.5 mm; 28.05 g). Rome mint, struck in late summer 68 AD. Obverse: IMP SER SVLP GALBA CAES AVG TR P, Laureate and draped bust right. Reverse: LIBERTAS PVBLICA, Libertas standing left, holding pileus in right hand and scepter in left; S C across field. A bold portrait of Galba. Some tooling of the finest details and minor smoothing in fields. Some earthen deposits around details that have been artificially applied.
